Make an edeposit

Which deposit method should I use?

There are a few different ways that you can deposit publications with the NED service. The one that is best for you will depend on how many publications you need to deposit and how frequently you need to deposit.

  1. Publishers can use the NED online portal to deposit a single publication or a small number of publications.
  2. Publishers can use the NED online portal to arrange a bulk deposit, a process managed directly by member libraries (minimum of 25 items, up to 1000 items at a time). This is for publishers depositing multiple publications, or who have a very large quantity to deposit, such as a backlist of electronic publications.
  3. Publishers can contact their member library to arrange a bulk FTP deposit process managed collaboratively with NLA (primarily for large commercial publishers and newspaper publishers who regularly have a large number of publications to deposit).
  4. Publishers can contact their member library to arrange deposit as an email attachment for e-newsletters.

Where a publisher is unable to use one of these methods, alternative arrangements may be arranged by contacting your member library.
